The state of Arizona has about 40 nursing schools accredited by Arizona board of nursing. Make sure you check this list of accredited nursing schools before you enroll in any nursing school in Arizona. Otherwise, you may waste time and money and end up not being recognized as a nurse

This list of nursing schools is categorized based on nursing programs offered. Please note that some Nursing schools and colleges may be offering more than one nursing program. We have categorized these nursing schools as follows.

LPN Nursing pay in Arizona

The base pay for a Licensed Vocation nurse in Arizona depends on the location, population and market competition. In some cities, LPN makes almost $50,000 a year whereas in others, they make just over $30,000 a year. Here is a sample of different cities and how much a Practical Nurse makes.

  1. East Valley Institute of Technology:

    East Valley Institute of Technology was accredited by Arizona board of nursing in 2013 and has been offering LPN courses since then. Their Nursing program administrator is Catherine Jagos, BSN, MSN Interim Nursing Program Administrator 480-461-4001

  2. Fortis College.

    Located at 555 North 18th St. Suite 110 Phoenix, Arizona 85006 Tel 602-254-3099, Fortis school of LPN was accredited by Arizona Board of nursing on November 2013. The program director is Darlene Brown, MSN, RN, CEN, CNE Director of Nursing.

  3. Gateway Community College.

    Fast Track LPN Program. Fast track program means you can get your LPN program much faster than the rest of the schools offering LPN. Address is 108 N. 40th Street Phoenix, AZ 85034 602-286-8531. The program administrator is Margi Schultz, RN, PhD Director, Nursing Division

  4. Mohave Community College:

    Lead by Cindy L. Garrison, MSN, Ed., RN, CEN Director of Nursing, Mohave community college is located at 1801 Detroit Avenue Kingman, AZ 86401 928-681-5640. Mohave community college was accredited by Arizona Board of Nursing on January 2015.

  5. Pima Community College – CTD Health Occupations Programs:

    Pima Community college is in Tucson Arizona. The nursing program was accredited by Arizona board of nursing on November 2011. Located at 5901 South Calle Santa Cruz Tucson, AZ 85709-6370 520-206-5140. LPN program director is Joseph Gaw, EdD, MSN, RN Assistant Dean/Director of Nursing

20 Associate Degree in Nursing Schools in Arizona

There are 21 nursing schools in Arizona offering associate degree in Nursing, accredited by Arizona Board of Nursing. Some of these schools also offer LPN-RB Bridge program for those with LPN looking to get RN license.

    Prerequisites
    Completed BIO201-Human Anatomy & Physiology I (4 credits) and BIO202-Human Anatomy & Physiology II (4 credits) with a grade of “C” (2.0) or better within 5 years of application.
    Hold a valid Arizona Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure.
    Eligible to register for or have already completed MAT141-College Math or higher
    Eligible to register for or have already completed ENG101-English Composition I
    Successful completion of the HESI Nursing Entrance Exam within 3 attempts, which is good for two years.

  3. Carrington College Nursing School

    Carrington college in phoenix is a private college with multiple campuses through out the United states. They have not published nursing schools prerequisites and requirements as most other nursing school does.
