- Two letters of recommendations
- Admissions Interview (recommended, not required)

Prerequisites (Cognates) for a Bachelor of Science Degree with a Major in Nursing
(Traditional 4-Year and Second-Degree Programs)
- Biology 209, 210 with Labs (2 units)
- Human Anatomy & Physiology I & II
- Fall and Spring, Freshman Year
- Psychology 101 or Sociology 101 or Anthropology 101 (1 unit)
- Introduction to Psychology or Introduction to Sociology or General Anthropology
- Microbiology 200 with Lab (1 unit)
- Intermediate Learning Community
- Only Spring Sophomore Year
- Nutrition (1 unit)
- Intermediate Learning Community
- Only Spring Sophomore Year
In addition to the above courses:
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Students entering the program after the Fall of 2016 will need to take the TEAS VI. You will be limited to one attempt and must score 60.0 or higher to be accepted into the program.
*Traditional Students- TEAS scores must be submitted before April 1.
