Nursing program
- Students who are prepared are welcomed to benefit from and also contribute to an intensive and also varied learning atmosphere. To be accepted to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) training program, pupils commonly have earned 3.4 GPA or higher in their previous studies. Students do not need to declare the pre-nursing major to be able to apply to the BSN training program. Nevertheless, it is highly encouraged.

Following are the minimum requirements for BSN-RN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:

Application deadline to start the program in the fall term in the BSN professional program.

Application deadline to start the program in the spring term in the BSN professional program.
- Apply to the University: Undergraduate Admissions
- You must complete the College of Nursing application for the BSN program.
- Pre requisite Grade Point Average (GPA) for Nursing
o 35%, weighted value of the overall admission score
o A combined minimum GPA of 3.0 is required
o A grade of ‘C’ or better is required in all prerequisites
o Two courses may be in-progress at the time of application
- Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA)
o 20%, weighted value of the overall admission score
o A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required for all graded post-secondary coursework
- HESI Admissions Assessment Exam (HESI A2)
o 25%, weighted value of the overall admission score
o Minimum score of 75 is required
o Required sections: Math, Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary and General Knowledge, and Grammar
o Testing locations through UA Testing Center and Prometric Testing
- Behavioral Interview
o 20%, weighted value of the overall admission score
o Minimum score of 70% is required
PREREQUISITE COURSES
- English Composition (2 semesters)
- General Chemistry – lectures (2 semesters) and a lab (1 lab minimum)
- Human Anatomy and Physiology – lectures (2 semesters) and labs (2 semesters)
- General Biology – lecture (1 semester)
