Nursing program
- The College of Nursing at the University of Central Florida has a demanding curriculum. The classes are work-intensive, and also courses consist of clinical practice in various settings. Students with concerns or questions should get in touch with the College of Nursing Undergraduate Student Services Office for a consultation with an academic advisor.
- The traditional Bachelor of Science (BSN) training program is built for individuals who have completed the freshman and also a sophomore year at UCF. Pupils with an associate degree (AA) degree from a Florida public institution, transfer students who have completed the equivalent of UCF’s General Education Training program, and students with a Bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing field.
- Graduates meet the criteria to sit and take the National Council Licensure Examination for registered nurses (NCLEX-RN). The training program is certified by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and endorsed by the Florida State Board of Nursing.
- Admission is limited and also takes place twice annually (each fall on UCF’s Orlando campus, and also each spring on UCF’s regional campuses in Cocoa and Daytona Beach).
