Nursing Program
The Nursing Training program was founded in 1971 by a consortium of Tulsa-area hospitals to provide a college-based nursing training program for Tulsa and Northeastern Oklahoma. Ever since then, a lot more than 4,000 nurses have graduated from the Tulsa Community College Nursing Training program.
Tulsa Community College offers two nursing tracks which range from 3 to 4 semesters, including Nursing Career Mobility (LPN/Paramedic to Registered Nurse) Track, and Traditional Nursing (RN) Track.
The Training program is certified by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (ACEN) and endorsed by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing. Successful Completion of the associate degree meet the requirements for graduates to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) via the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing.
