Nursing Program
Triton’s Associate Degree Nursing program provides students with a primary knowledge of nursing theory and practice, social and biological sciences and humanities. Clinical experiences are offered in a variety of environments.
Graduates receive an associate in applied science degree and become eligible to sit for the National Council Licensing Examination (NCLEX) for the registered nurse. Students may opt to sit for the NCLEX for the practical nurse upon completion of the first two semesters of the program.
The program is endorsed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. The associate in applied science degree has the accreditation of the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
