Nursing Program
The ASN program at Trinity College of Nursing prepares candidates from culturally and ethnically varied communities for a profession in nursing. Students are trained in both classroom and clinical settings to participate, offer, and learn high quality, effective and safe care to patients.
Upon program completion graduates are equipped to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to qualify as a Registered Nurse. Nursing programs at Trinity Christian College have the accreditation of the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Trinity Christian College is a four-year liberal arts college founded in 1959 by a group of Chicago businessmen in Palos Heights, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. The college aims to be offering students with a Christian higher education in a Reformed practice.
This accredited four-year college offers degrees in over 70 programs of study. Trinity serves students from a variety of traditions and denominations. The College’s foundations however, are rooted in Reformed Christianity, a historical connection that is both pervasive and foundational today.

In addition to the general College admissions requirements students seeking entrance into the Associate of Science in Nursing program must have completed or earned the following:
- High School Grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
- ACT minimum score of 21
- Students applying prior to Dec. 1 can enter the promo code TRINITY to waive the $30 application fee requirement.
- Submit official transcripts from all high schools previously attended. A cumulative GPA of 2.50 is required for unconditional admissionHome-schooled students may submit transcripts from their home-school association or an academic portfolio plus verification that the home-school program has been completed. Students who have successfully completed the General Educational Development examination (GED) may submit the exam results.
- Submit ACT or SAT I test results. A minimum of a 19 ACT composite (980 SAT) is needed for unconditional admission.
Once all this information is submitted, your admissions counselor will contact you regarding your application. You will not have to wait long to hear if you’ve been accepted, because Trinity has a rolling deadline for applications.
Applicants who do not meet the above criteria are considered if they can show that they have accomplished 24 semester hours or more of college credit with a 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
