Nursing Program

The ADN training program in St. Louis Community College prepares pupils to become registered nurses. Pupils learn how to provide direct care that is dependent on the nursing procedure. Pupils acquire knowledge and also technical competencies required for efficient communication with clients and also families.

They learn management, organizational and also delegation skills essential to provide reliable care to several clients. Health-care teaching is accentuated as a critical facet of the communication process.

The educational and also clinical components of the program are intertwined to provide a solid background for the pupil in attaining the goals of the programs and in becoming an effective practitioner. Experience is provided in many different agencies, such as hospitals, nursing homes, clinics and home healthcare functions.
