Nursing Program
The AAS training program is a rigorous 2-year, 65-credit, regular training program that readies associate degree-level nurses. The AAS course provides a solid basis in general education, biological sciences, and also social sciences, along with nursing science. Graduates of the training program are competent to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).

About The School
At the School of Health Sciences, College students are trained to become nurses, occupational and also physical therapists, leaders, physician assistants and speech pathologists, along with advocates, and allies in the communities they come from and also those that they serve. Since the creation in 1972, the college has developed to offer virtually a dozen programs across four strategically located campuses in Bay Shore, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. All the undergraduate and professional training programs are flexibly built to satisfy the requirements of the tight-knit and varied student body.

Following are the minimum requirements for ADN-RN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:
- All applicants should apply through the general Touro application (Preferred). Alternatively, you can also apply through NursingCAS.
If a current School of Health Sciences nursing student fails out of the nursing program, regardless of track, they cannot reapply to any other track within the nursing program.
- A completed application accompanied by the application fee for the method you are using to apply (preferably the Touro application)
- Official high school transcript OR a GED certificate and score sheet
- Official transcript(s) of any college-level work completed
- Two letters of recommendation
- Two letters of recommendation
- NLN-PAX (National League for Nursing Pre-Entrance Exam for RN) scores sent directly from the NLN.
