I am currently in my second semester at the ADN Rio Hondo program. If you are planning to come here, DONT! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. The teachers here set you up for FAILURE. It doesn’t matter how much you study, what they told you to study is not what is on the exam. What you practiced together in class, is not what will be on the exam. We have professors, TANG IN PARTICULAR, who just reads from her slides during our 1.5 hr lecture. Shes a very enthusiastic person, but that’s as far as her contribution. SHE DOES NOT TEACH YOU. She does not prepare you for the intense questions she gives that is not even in our reading. I have classmates getting kicked out left and right, and others who are planning to leave because of the misguided teachers. They also BULLY students for things we don’t know (that’s why we’re in SCHOOL, so we can learn). It’s been so recurrent that we are all discouraged to say anything to the point that people would rather LEAVE than speak up. Do yourself a favor and DONT COME TO RIO HONDO NURSING PROGRAM.
