Nursing Program
The registered nursing training program, offered solely at NSCC’s Archbold campus, is built to prepare pupils to provide nursing care in many different health-care functions and for licensure and also employment as a registered nurse (RN).
The four (4) semester training program integrates interactive real human classes, labs, web-enhanced classes, and clinical experience to prepare pupils to work as an associate of the health-care team. Satisfactory completion of the training program readies pupils to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nursing (NCLEX-RN), enabling the graduate to practice as a registered nurse (RN). Also there are opportunities to transfer into a four-year degree training program at associating institutions.
All programs in the Nursing Department are completely endorsed by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN training program is also certified by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc.
