NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) is a public two-year college situated in Benton and Washington counties, Arkansas, in the United States. The major campus is situated in Bentonville Arkansas.
NorthWest Arkansas Community College was formed by voters in the Bentonville and Rogers Public School Districts on August 15, 1989, when they passed by a 65% margin a 3-mill property tax to assist the new institution.
NorthWest Arkansas Community College commissioned its doors to 1,200 pupils in August 1990 and had more than roughly 8,000 college credit students (Spring 2013), making it among the largest and fastest growing two-year college in Arkansas.
An extra 6,000 students are served by through non-credit courses all through the service area. Major campus (Northwest Arkansas Community College) and Off Campuses (Farmington Center-(FARMHS), Adult Education Center(AdEd), Regional Technology Center( RTC ), The Jones Center( CF), (Washington County Center( WCC )).
NURSING PROGRAM
At NorthWest Arkansas Community College, the Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing is built to prepare graduates to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) and to work as Registered Nurses.
Graduates who obtain RN licensure are ready to provide client care at the beginning staff nurse level. General nursing education imparts an extensive base of nursing knowledge.
Those individuals desiring to continue further education and/or a nursing profession will have the vital knowledge base upon which to advance their professional career. Nursing pupils complete clinical experiences in area health-care facilities.
The NorthWest Arkansas Community College Nursing Training program wishes to publicize that it will host a site analysis for initial licensing of its Associates Degree nursing program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
NorthWest Arkansas Community College Nursing Program was lately named the Number 4 overall Nursing Program, and the Number 1 Associate Degree in Nursing in the state of Arkansas.
Ratings were formulated by evaluating the past and present NCLEX-RN pass rates and other techniques. The Nursing Program at NorthWest Arkansas Community College is endorsed by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing and has an overall high NCLEX-RN pass rate. The Nursing Program is also presently in ACEN candidacy.

Following are the minimum requirements for ADN-RN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:
- Acceptance into the nursing program is by application only – accepted twice a year:
- February 1 – March 1 for Track I, Track II, and Bridge to RN
- October 1 – November 1 for Track III
- NWACC admission criteria requirements
- Non-native Speakers of English students: score of at least 92 on COMPASS ESL Listening Test
- Overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or better
- Pre-nursing General Education requirements
- Meet the minimum requirements of 75% or greater in each sub-category of the HESI A2 Entrance Exam
