Nursing Program
The nursing program is intended to provide candidates the opportunity to enter nursing or to progress in nursing by entering at diverse levels of the curriculum. Students could enter into the first year of the program, or those who are already graduates of approved practical nursing programs are offered an opportunity for an advanced standing in the nursing curriculum. Graduates will be qualified to take the NCLEX-RN examination.
Upon graduation, they will easily find employment opportunities in health care settings such as nursing homes, hospitals, and medical offices. Graduates may also opt to transfer to a four-year university to finish their bachelor’s degree in nursing. The nursing program has the full accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and is endorsed by the Maine State Board of Nursing.
