North Central State graduates of Associate Degree Nursing (RN) training program constantly score above the national average on their licensure examinations. The Associate Degree Nursing Training program at North Central State College is certified by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
The program has also obtained the Ohio Board of Nursing Full Authorization status. 100 % of North Central State graduates seeking employment in nursing are employed. In reality, a lot of Nursing graduates are employed before they graduate. Countless numbers of them are encouraged by their employers to continue their education.

North Central State College (NCSC) is a two (2) year state college, situated in Mansfield, Ohio, United States. It is situated on the 644-acre Mansfield Campus with The Ohio State University.
North Central State College offers associate’s degrees and also certification courses in many different career fields such as business, computers, health science and public service, engineering, technology and workforce development. In the year 1961, the Mansfield, Ohio, Board of Education founded Mansfield School of Technology, the earlier model of North Central State College.

Following are the minimum requirements for ADN-RN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:
- Application to the college.
- Nursing Information Session- You must arrange to attend one of the nursing information sessions.
- Official copy of high school transcript or GED. An official copy of your high school transcript must be submitted to the Student Records Office in Kee Hall.
- MATH 0086 or STAT 0086 (grade of C-or above) or qualifying COMPASS/ACCUPLACER/ACT scores.
- MATH 0086 with a minimum of C-grade or higher; a COMPASS Algebra score of 52 or higher; ACCUPLACERscore of 55 or higher; or ACT Math score of 22 or higher. OR
- Co-Requisite: STAT 0086
- High school chemistry (grade of C- or above) or College CHEM 1010 (grade of C-or above).
You must have completed one unit of high school chemistry with a grade of C- or above, or complete CHEM 1010 Introduction to Chemistry with a grade of C- or above or transfer credit. CHEM 1010 Introduction to Chemistry has a prerequisite of MATH 0074 Beginning Algebra. A grade of C- or transfer credit in a higher level chemistry course (suchas CHEM 1030) will also meet this requirement
- TEAS V scores. You are required to take the TEAS V. The minimum acceptable Composite Percentage Score is 65%.
- You must complete all required developmental course work as identified by COMPASS/ACCUPLACER test and have a 2.5 grade point average (GPA) to begin the first semester in the nursing program.
