Nursing Program
North Central Missouri College offers PN to ADN training program which is a nine (9) month training program (August to May), offered at both the Trenton and also Maryville sites. Pupils attend class, lab as well as clinical. Classes are conducted in the daytime with some evening/weekend clinical. We also have a web-based ADN training program.
North Central Missouri College PN to ADN training program is completely endorsed by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. We are presently seeking licensing from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.

North Central Missouri College (previously Trenton Junior College) is a community college established in 1925 in Trenton, Missouri. The campus has grown to incorporate nine structures used as instruction facilities, a student center, a tutoring center, a community center, a career center, an art gallery, two (2) residence halls and a technology center.

Following are the minimum requirements for ADN-RN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:
- Accepted as an NCMC student
- Students can apply online at www.ncmissouri.edu
- Official transcripts from previous institutions must be submitted
- Nursing Application and notarized Waiver Form
- These must be submitted to the student’s first choice
- Pre-Entrance Test – ATI TEAS Test taken within the last 2 years
- Minimum score of 58.7% is required to be considered for acceptance
- Early acceptance (March) requires minimum score of 67.1%
- Maximum number of attempts is 3 per calendar year
- Applicants must wait 30 days between testing dates
- If a student tests more than one time in a 30 day period, the second test score will be void
- Test must be taken at an NCMC location (Trenton or Maryville)
- Current PN Unencumbered License
- Current PN students have until January of the PN to ADN program year to pass PN boards
- Must be IV Certified
- Must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 from high school or college
- All university or college coursework attempted will be considered when determining a student’s cumulative grade point average
- College transcript supersedes high school transcript
- Admission is contingent upon maintaining a 2.0 cumulative grade point average
- Applicant must be in good academic standing with NCMC
- Complete pre-requisite classes with a “C” or greater (must be completed at least by the semester prior to the nursing program starting):
- Anatomy & Physiology – 8 credit hours with a lab
- Can be taken as two separate 4 credit hour courses with lab
- If applicant is transferring in credit from another institution and A&P is not equal to 8 credit hours with lab, the applicant may be required to complete Human Chemistry for 3 credit hours
- General Psychology – 3 credit hours
- Speech – 3 credit hours
- English I – 3 credit hours

Please let me know, am I able to transfer my nursing class credit from KCKCC to NCMC. I am a LPN with IV certification, I am working for the last 6 year, I attended KCKCCC, my last 4 weeks before graduation was unsuccessful. I have 3.2 GPA, TEAS 60% and 29 years experience of patient care. Thank You
