• The 4-year nursing pre-licensure training program at Nazareth College is meant for the undergraduate student with no prior experience in professional nursing. The training program emphasis is on transcultural nursing, preparing the graduates of the training program to work in numerous settings to provide culturally sensitive care to patients.
• Students in their first 2-years of study must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75, with at least grade of “C” in all required science and also nurse major courses. Pupils must maintain a cumulative minimum GPA of 2.75 to advance in the nursing major.
• The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education fully certifies Nazareth College as well as being registered with the New York State Education Division. Nazareth College is a member of the Common Application. To be considered as a freshman applicant, please submit a completed application along with an official high school transcript and a minimum of one letter of recommendation from either a teacher or school counselor. The $45 non-refundable application fee is waived when filing an application electronically.

Nazareth is test optional meaning applicants are not required to submit SAT or ACT  tests scores in order to be admitted to the college. If the applicant chooses to include SAT or ACT results, tests scores must be included on the official high school transcript or sent directly from the College Board or ACT.

Admitted freshmen choosing to enroll, must submit an enrollment deposit before May 1st followed by an official, final high school transcript after graduation.
