Nursing program
- Mount Saint Mary College is excited about its highly respected nursing programs along with the faculty who teach in the training program. The School of Nursing is getting close to 100% doctoral preparation of all regular faculty. The adjunct faculty is skilled with experienced clinicians representing a vast spectrum of nursing and healthcare specialties.
- The Mount offers four educational paths in Nursing leading to a BSN; Traditional, Adult Degree Completion, the hybrid on-site and also web-based RN to BS, LPN to RN programs.
- The Traditional training program admits pupils who will complete their degree in the customary four-year duration.
- The Adult Degree Completion training program is an evening and also weekend training program designed especially for the adult learner.
- The RN to BS training program is for registered nurses, currently licensed, who want to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- The LPN to BS training program is for licensed practical nurses who are enthusiastic about expanding their nursing knowledge to that of a baccalaureate-prepared registered nurse.
- The Mount’s Nursing training program has achieved licensing from the prestigious Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The rigorous licensing process supports continuing growth and also improvement of collegiate, professional education and also post-baccalaureate nurse residency programs. The CCNE awarded accreditation of the baccalaureate degree training program in nursing for the term of ten years to December 31, 2019.

- Mount Saint Mary College is a non-public, co-educational, 4-year liberal arts school, situated in Newburgh in the mid-Hudson Valley region of New York, United States. It was established in 1960 by the Dominican Sisters.

Following are the minimum requirements for BSN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:
Traditional students are expected to complete the following six courses in their freshman year or the equivalent of the freshman year:
- BIO 1030/1040: Human Anatomy & Physiology I/II with grades of C or better
- CHM 1050/1060: Introduction to Chemistry I/II with grades of C or better
- PSY 1010: General Psychology
- SOC 1010: Introduction to Sociology
Additional requirements:
- Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75
- Complete the TEAS – V test (Assessment Technologies Institute, LLC)
