Mount Wachusett Community College offers the necessary program for earning an ADN. If you intend to work in a hospital or any other medical facility or just to become a nurse, Mount Wachusett Community College is the right place to start. Though there are a few prerequisites, immediately after the two years you will be able to get a job in your particular area of expertise. And you can take the NCLEX-RN examination to become a registered nurse RN.

Mount Wachusett Community College is a two-year college in Gardner, Massachusetts that offers associate degrees plus a transfer program for students to acquire credits for transfer to other colleges.
MWCC provides over 40 academic programs that enable the students to earn an associate of applied science, Associate degree of science, Associate degree of arts, or a certificate. Mount Wachusett Community College is an accredited two-year college serving 29 cities and towns in North Central Massachusetts. The main campus is situated in Gardner, Massachusetts while the satellite sites are sited in Athol, Leominster, Orange, Fitchburg, and Devens.
The college offers more than 40 associate degree and certificate programs, plus adult basic education/GED programs, training and education for business and industry, non-credit community service programs, and English for speakers of other languages. Courses are offered in the day and evening, online and weekends.

Following are the minimum requirements for ADN-RN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:
General Applicants:
Applicants must have completed the following at time of application:
- Math Proficiency: Competency may be met with completion of a math course equal to MAT126 or higher (not MAT140) with a C+ or greater or through college placement testing.
- One 4-credit Lab Science completed at an accredited college with a grade of C+ or greater. (BIO 113 or BIO 199 preferred)
- The ability to enter college-level coursework in English. English competency may be demonstrated through college coursework or placement of ENG101.
- Students whose native language is not English and those who have not completed grades K – 12 in the U.S. must demonstrate English proficiency by having completed ENG101 with a grade of C+ or higher, or have completed a bachelor’s degree from an accredited US college or university, or score 213 on the computerized version or 550 on the paper version of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
- Applicants are strongly encouraged to complete all non-nursing pre and co-requisite coursework prior to applying to the program due to the competitive admission requirements of the program
