Mohave Community College (also known as MCC) is a two-year, public community college established in 1970. It offers classes in the following campuses; Kingman, Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, and Colorado City, to serve the people of Mohave County, Arizona, and the surrounding communities. MCC is fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, which is authorized by the U.S. Department of Education. Since its establishment, the school has grown rapidly as it has over 13,000 students in attendance.
NURSING
Mohave Community College grants an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing (AAS).The program is affordable and convenient. The goal of the AAS Nursing Program is to provide first-class, learning-centered education that trains graduates to meet the health needs of a varied population in a variety of vibrant community environments. The program is totally dedicated to offering excellence and innovation in advancing the art of nursing through caring, knowledge, teamwork, nurturing communications, interpersonal collaborations, and the use of technology in clinical and classroom settings. Students successfully completing the program will be eligible to take the national licensure examination for registered nurses. The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission accredits the nursing program and it is approved by the Arizona State Board of Nursing

Apply for Admissions
- New students will need to complete an admissions application. Once the application has been processed e-mails will be sent to the e-mail address provided on the application. These e-mails will include your MCC ID number, login information for the MCC student information system JICS/myMohave along with orientation information.
- Students who are returning after more than a one-year absence will need to complete an admissions application.
- All student applicants default to out-of-state tuition rates. Students seeking In-state or Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) tuition rates or any Arizona state-based financial aid must be prepared to submit proof of Citizenship and Arizona Residency. The student will receive an email with instructions on what documentation is needed and how the student can submit these documents. - Transfer students must submit an official transcript of prior credit attempted or earned at all other colleges or universities for evaluations. See Transcript Evaluation Criteria for all the necessary steps to have an official transcript evaluated.
