Following are the minimum requirements for BSN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:
- Application for admission
- Traditional Day Program Admission to Maryville University.
- Minimum cumulative high school and college (if applicable) GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale OR ACT composite score of 23 with sub-scores in science and math of at least 20/New SAT (As of March 2016) score range of 1100-1190
- A minimum science and math high school GPA of 3.0. Science courses include biology, chemistry, and physics; math courses include algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, trigonometry, and calculus.
- A TOEFL score of 85 or higher with a speaking sub-score of 23, writing sub-score of 20 and reading and listening scores of 21 or higher for whom English is a second language.
- Advanced placement in the traditional baccalaureate nursing program is available for transfer students with college credit. Science courses must have been completed within the last seven years.

- 4 years of English
- 3 years of History of Social Science
- 3 years of Math, including coursework in Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II
- 3 years of Natural Science, including coursework in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
