  • Loma Linda University (LLU) is a Seventh-day Adventist coeducational health Sciences Institution situated in Loma Linda, California, USA.
  • The University makes up eight schools and the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Over one hundred certificate and degree programs are offered by the schools of allied health professions, behavioral health, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, medicine, public health, and religion.

Following are the minimum requirements for BSN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:

BS, BA/BS to BS and LVN to BS

  • Minimum college cumulative and prerequisite GPA of 3.0 for the regular track, 3.3 for the accelerated track (BA/BS to BS)
  • All prerequisites with a “C” or better
  • Application with personal statement
  • Official transcripts from all college credits
  • Pre-entrance exams (TEAS & Critical Thinking)
  • Three letters of recommendation (2 from instructors)
  • Completion of HS or equivalent (we will need official high school transcripts if you do not have a further degree, or if you are planning to use Algebra II or Physics)
  • All qualified applicants will be invited to interview

RN to BS

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 in all college coursework
  • All prerequisites with a “C” or better
  • Application with personal statement
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Official transcripts from all college credits
  • Completion of HS or equivalent
  • All qualified applicants will be interviewed
