Nursing Program

The ASN Training program at Lincoln Memorial University prepares graduates to be safe and efficient caregivers who are capable of operating successfully in entry-level Registered Nurse positions after passing their NCLEX-RN State Board Examination. In a current graduating class, more than 96% of Lincoln Memorial University ASN graduates passed their NCLEX-RN exam. After receiving their Registered Nurse license, Lincoln Memorial University graduates are qualified to operate in any setting that hires registered nurses. Furthermore, ASN degree recipients have the choice of pursuing advanced degree opportunities.

LMU’s ASN training program is endorsed by both the Kentucky and Tennessee Boards of Nursing. ACEN certifies the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree training program.

About the school

Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) is a private four (4) year co-educational liberal arts college situated in Harrogate, Tennessee, United States Of America. Lincoln Memorial University 1000-acre campus borders on Cumberland Gap National Historical Park. Altogether, Lincoln Memorial University is certified by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). In December 2014, the law school obtained provisional accreditation by the American Bar Association.

LMU’s Abraham Lincoln Library together with Museum houses a sizable collection of memorabilia relating to the school’s namesake, Abraham Lincoln, along with the Civil War. The collection was originally created from donations by the school’s initial benefactor, General Oliver O. Howard, and his friends.

Arthur established Middlesboro, Kentucky for the company’s workers and furnaces, and designed a railroad line linking Middlesboro with Knoxville, Tennessee. It was founded 1897.
