Nursing program
- The objective of the Indiana University Southeast School of Nursing faculty is to educate high-quality, caring professionals to be leaders who fulfill the needs of various people in various health care settings.
- In the year 2010, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education certified the Indiana University Southeast Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing Training program for 10-years. The Indiana State Board of Nursing also certified the Indiana University Southeast Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing Training program.
- The graduate possesses an extensive knowledge of the humanities, biological and social sciences, and also nursing. As an entry level practitioner, the graduate applies well-developed problem-solving competencies in caring for persons, families and also communities.

Following are the minimum requirements for BSN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:
Freshman applicants must meet the following criteria for full admission:
- Apply online: A one-time, non-refundable application fee of $35 is required. This fee is not required if you have previously applied for undergraduate admission at any Indiana University Campus.
- Core 40 or Core 40 with Honors or Technical Honors (or 28 college preparatory high school courses for non-Indiana residents and those graduating prior to 2011)
- At least a 2.0 GPA
Scores from either the SAT or ACT are required for those applicants who graduated from high school within the past two years – or who completed a GED and are 19 years of age or younger. Students who have been out of high school for over two years and do not meet the minimum requirements listed for traditional students may be asked to arrange for an interview with an admissions counselor to demonstrate intention through maturity and experience. Standards based on SAT totals from Critical Reading and Math sections.
Transfer Students
- Apply online: A one-time, non-refundable application fee of $35 is required. This fee is not required if you have previously applied for undergraduate admission at any Indiana University Campus.
- Must submit official transcripts from all previously attended colleges (individual transcripts from each institution).
- Must have earned a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or higher on a 4.00 scale.
- Applicants that have earned less than 26 hours of college credit are expected to meet the Freshman Admission Standards.
