Nursing Program
The A.D. Nursing Training program in Hudson County Community College consists of a theoretical base of general education and science courses combined with an array of nursing theory and also practical course built to ready graduates to meet the specifications for the state licensure exam for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
Graduates of the Nursing Training program must pass the National Council of State Boards of Nursing Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) for Registered Nurses to have the ability to practice nursing. Pupils who satisfactory complete the program will be honored an Associate in Science Degree Nursing (ASN) from Hudson County Community College. Graduates of the Training program may go into higher division BSN Nursing programs via articulation arrangements at numerous four-year institutions.

Hudson County Community College (HCCC) is an authorized, public, co-educational, two (2) year, community college situated in Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. Following are the minimum requirements for ADN-RN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:
High School Diploma or Graduate Equivalency Diploma
High School Chemistry or College Chemistry Course.(Biology and Algebra recommended)
Satisfactory achievement on the NLN Pre–Nursing Examination–RN or SAT score of at least 480 Math and 480 Verbal( Reading)
Satisfactory personal interview may be required.

Official High School and/or College Transcript(s)
Overall GPA of at least 2.5
Acceptance is contingent upon the submission of all required documents. All students are required to submit proof of US citizenship, be CPR Healthcare provider BLS certified prior to the first nursing course. In addition, all students are required to carry malpractice insurance; complete medical records and immunizations; complete a criminal history background check, drug testing, and have medical health insurance.
