Nursing Program
Certainly one of the biggest in South Carolina, Greenville Technical College’s Associate Degree Nursing training program was established in 1971 and produces graduates that are qualified to sit and take the national registered nurse licensure examination (NCLEX-RN) and start careers in the nursing profession.
The program covers all areas of the nursing profession and is built to incorporate both theory and also practical “hands-on” educational experiences. Nursing pupils can complete the training program in 2 to 3 years as regular pupils and also practice as Registered Nurses upon passing the licensure examination.
Endorsed by South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, State Board of Nursing for South Carolina as well as certified by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. often time’s health-care specialists in some other areas choose to pursue a career as a registered nurse (RN).
Respiratory therapists, emergency medical technicians and also licensed practical nurses (LPNs) all meet the requirements to enter our Advanced Placement Nursing Training program.
