For transfer applicants, Georgetown University does not have any prerequisite courses that are required in order to be eligible to apply to the BSN program. For those interested in transferring into the nursing program as a 2nd year, students will need to have taken the following:

• A chemistry course that is designed for a science major (3 or more credits) at a ‘B’ or better
• Human Biology 1 and 2 with lab or Anatomy & Physiology 1 and 2 with lab at the same institution (a total of 8 or more credits) at a ‘B’ or better

Please note: You do not need to have any of the above courses in order to be considered for transfer admission into the nursing program. Students without any or with partial coursework completed as described above by the start of their entering fall semester will be considered for the 1st year of the BSN program only.

Georgetown does not require the TEAS test to be eligible to apply as a transfer applicant.
