Nursing program
The Associate Degree Nursing Program at WCCS has two options for the LPN to RN Mobility Program. The first option requires traditional classroom time two days each week. The second option requires students to be in the classroom only for orientation, laboratories, and exams. The students do not have to attend the classroom lectures but are invited to do so when more difficult subjects are covered. Downloadable lectures are available, and students are encouraged to communicate with instructors via chat rooms, email, and telephone. Under both plans, students have a requirement of 90 hours of clinical rotations. The Associate Degree Nursing Program at Wallace Community College has been endorsed by the Alabama Board of Nursing and is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
