Gateway Community And Technical College ADN-RN Nursing Program Prerequisites & Reviews.

March 17, 2017 by GREGORY Leave a Comment

Nursing Program

Nursing is among the most satisfying and challenging careers a person can choose. The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) training program in Gateway Community and Technical College grooms graduates to provide and handle customer care and to become associates within the field of nursing.

Clinical facilities used by the Gateway Nursing Training program require pupils to have distinct track record checks and drug screens and can deny pupil involvement in clinical/observation rotations at their facilities. Since clinical involvement is needed to fulfill the nursing course outcomes, if a facility denies pupil admission to clinical, the pupil will not be capable of advancing in the nursing training program. Gateway Community and Technical College does not acknowledge accountability for any student being ineligible for clinical participation based on track record checks or drug screens and also continued enrollment in the ADN training program.

KBN may deny a nursing graduate entry to the NCLEX-RN Examination if a person has been convicted of a misdemeanor or perhaps felony which involves acts that bear directly on the certification of the graduate to practice nursing.
