Nursing program
- The traditional BSN training program at Florida State University is a limited access/limited enrollment upper division major made up of sequential course offerings and also elective courses. Nursing courses are based on concepts and also guidelines from liberal studies, biological and also behavioral sciences, and nursing theory.

Upload a typed essay using 12-point font, New Times Roman, and no more than 500-words to the electronic BSN application answering the following questions:
- What experience(s) has led to your decision to pursue a baccalaureate in nursing?
- What personal characteristics do you possess that are compatible with nursing?
- How will your desire for a career in nursing reflect the mission of the Florida State University College of Nursing?
- Official transcripts must be sent to the FSU Admissions Office and the College of Nursing, Student Services office, with application submission.
- Interviews
As part of the BSN application process the College of Nursing will be conducting face to face group interviews on February 23, 2018. From the pool of eligible BSN candidates a select group will be required to participate in the interview process. Candidates will be notified by e-mail on February 9, 2018 of their assigned place/time for the interview. There will not be any exceptions to the interview process (no Skype, phone, etc.)

- Have earned an overall GPA of at least 3.4.
- Have earned an overall science GPA of at least 3.0.
- Received at least a grade of B or better in all prerequisite courses.
- Only one prerequisite course can be repeated.
Accelerated BSN
- Complete a baccalaureate level degree (or higher) from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Achieve at least a 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale) cumulative GPA on all college work
attempted.
- Achieve at least a 3.0 GPA for each nursing prerequisite course taken.
- Meet the Florida State University admission requirements for second degree seeking students.
- Complete the Florida State University Application for Undergraduate Admission
as a transfer student.
- Complete the College of Nursing Accelerated Track BSN Application at nursing.fsu.edu between May 15th and July 15th.
- Submit a current resume.
- Complete the following prerequisite courses with a ‘B’ or higher (Only one prerequisite course can be repeated)
