Nursing Program
From the basics to the most recent processes and technology, this degree grooms you for a career as a registered nurse (RN). You will learn to provide proper care to individuals of every age group with common physical and also mental health issues. Upon successful completion of the Nursing-Associate Degree training program, you are honored an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Nursing and are qualified to take the National Council of State Board’s Licensure Examination to become a registered nurse.
The Nursing-Associate Degree training program is completely endorsed by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). There is also Nursing Pathway, LPN to ADN.
About The School
Fox Valley Technical College is the technical college for the Appleton, Wisconsin area, United States. It is an associate of the Wisconsin Technical College System. Beginning in 1912, city vocational schools were formed at 6 sites (Appleton, Brillion, Neenah, Kaukauna, Menasha, and Oshkosh) in the current district. In the year 1967, the Wisconsin Legislature split the state into 16 districts, which led to the creation of Fox Valley Technical Institute (FVTI). In the year 1987, the college (along with all of the state technical colleges) was renamed and it became generally known as Fox Valley Technical College.
Fox Valley Technical College is certified by The Higher Learning Commission and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. FVTC keeps its licensing with the Higher Learning Commission via the Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) process. Fox Valley Technical College has been NCA-accredited ever since in the year 1970.

A TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) composite score of 58.7 or above is required for admission to the Pre-Associate Degree Nursing, Dental Hygiene, and OTA Programs.
