Following are the minimum requirements for BSN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:

• Official high school transcript with first-quarter grades
• Official SAT and/or ACT score report
• High school classes completed:
• English- 4 courses
• Mathematics- 4 courses (Algebra I & II and Geometry or Trigonometry, or comparable coursework) including mathematics during the final year of high school.
• Sciences- 3 courses (drawn from Natural Science and/or Physical Science and/or Technology/Engineering, including 2 courses with laboratory work); Technology/engineering courses must be designated as science courses (taken for science credit) by the high school.
• Social Sciences- 2 courses (including 1 course in U.S. History)
• Foreign Languages- 2 courses (in a single language)
• Electives- 2 courses (from the above subjects or from the Arts & Humanities or Computer Sciences)
• If your GPA is below 3.0 we use the sliding scale to determine admissibility. When reviewing a high school transcript, we re-calculate a student’s GPA based on their college prep, honors or AP level courses only. We do not include courses that are based on performance such as physical education, health, music, etc. When re-calculating a GPA we also give “extra credit” for higher-level courses. For example if you received a “B” in an honors course, we would consider this a “B+”. If you received a “B” in an AP or IB course, we would consider it an “A”.
