Nursing Program

The Associate Degree Nursing curriculum at Fayetteville Technical Community College provides skills, knowledge, and techniques to integrate safety and also quality into nursing care, to practice in an evolving atmosphere, and to meet personal needs which impact health, good quality of life, and also achievement of potential.

Course work includes and also builds upon the areas of health-care, nursing practice, and the holistic individual. Content emphasizes the nurse as an associate of the interdisciplinary team providing safe, personalized care while employing evidence-based practice, high-quality improvement, and also informatics.

The Associate Degree Nursing Training program at Fayetteville Technical Community College is certified by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. It is a four-semester training program. Graduates of this training program are qualified to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for Registered Nurse (RN).

About The School

Fayetteville Technical Community College (commonly abbreviated to FTCC or Fay Tech) is a two-year college situated in Fayetteville, North Carolina, United States. The school is certified by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and is an associate of the North Carolina Community College System.

Fayetteville Technical Community College serves over 41,000 pupils yearly by providing more than 190 occupational, technical, college transfer, general education, and continuing education programs. It is the fourth largest community college in the state and boasts one of the biggest Continuing Education divisions. Situated beside Fort Bragg, the college has provided education to the military since in the year 1961.

Total estimated program cost is USD $8,035

Following are the minimum requirements for ADN-RN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:

  • Complete the FTCC Application Process
  • Must meet College Admission Criteria; TEAS Test score proficient or higher.
  • Attend a Health Applicant Counseling Session
  • Sessions are available online or in person in the Health Technologies Center
  • Bring your Student Education Plan (if you don’t have one, please stop by HTC 202 during regular business hours to attain your SEP), paper and a pen
  • Do not bring children due to space limitations
  • Apply to your health program of choice in WebAdvisor.
  • Under the Registration Section
  • Select “Student Health Program Application”
  • Ensure all personal information is correct
  • Choose your desired health program from the drop-down menu
  • Submit the application

Note: You can only apply for one health program.

  • Print the receipt provided and keep it for your records.
  • Monitor your student email for further communication. (Look for your Health Applicant Rating Form in mid to late March.)
  • Attend a mandatory Health Program Information Session.
