- The College of Our Lady of the Elms often referred to as Elms College, is a Catholic liberal arts college situated in Chicopee, Massachusetts, the USA close to Springfield. The campus is located on the Springfield Street Historic District, in proximity to the Chicopee city-center.
- The Sisters of St. Joseph along with the Diocese of Springfield co-founded Elms as a girls’ preparatory academy in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the Academy of Our Lady of the Elms, in the year 1897. In the year 1899, Rev. John McCoy and also Bishop Thomas Beaven of the Springfield diocese acquired property in Chicopee, and it turned St. Joseph’s Normal College.
