Nursing Program

The nursing program at East Central Community College is built to prepare men and women to become nurses at the associate degree level. The program consists of a balance of general education and also nursing courses to provide an excellent theoretical base for nursing practice.

Clinical encounters are concurrent with the theory component throughout the four semesters. Graduates will earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) and will meet the criteria of the State Board of Nursing to apply and write the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).

The Associate Degree Nursing Training program is certified by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
