Nursing program
The RN program prepares the student to perform efficiently as a member of the health care team. This program requires critical thinking, dedication, ability to collaborate, and the growth of sound clinical knowledge and skills. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX).
The RN graduates can work in clinical settings such as long-term care facilities, clinics, acute care hospitals, doctor’s offices, hospice, home health care, industrial and prisons.
The Nursing Associate in Applied Science is accessible in both full-time and part-time tracks.
The Associate Degree in Nursing program(both full-time and part-time tracks), with the Transition to ADN track, have approval from the Michigan Board of Nursing. The ADN program has been endorsed since 1964.
About the school
Delta College, located southwest of Bay City, Michigan, United States is a two-year community college.
Delta College’s district had its foundation in 1955 with, Midland, Saginaw, and Bay counties forming the district. In 1957, the voters of the tri-counties permitted the building of the college, and it commenced classes in 1961.
Bay City Junior College, established in 1922 was replaced by Delta College because the junior college could no longer cater for the growing enrollment.

Getting your degree in a health field is unique compared to other Delta programs. You must first take your prerequisite core courses, and then you’ll apply for validation.
What’s validation?
The Registrar’s Office validates your prerequisite courses to confirm you are eligible to begin the clinical portion of you program.
