Nursing Program

The Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) training program is endorsed by the Virginia State Board of Nursing and also certified by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (ACEN).

The nurse who completes an ADN training program provides safe, direct nursing care in acute and also non-acute functions. The registered nurse (RN) makes independent nursing evaluations and may assign care activities to health team associates concentrating on the same or considerably less academic preparation.

After successful completion of the ADN training program, pupils will be qualified to sit and take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for registered nurse (RN). The Virginia State Board of Nursing has the potency to decline the possibility to take the examination if the candidate has flagrantly committed a felony/misdemeanor under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia or even of the United States of America. Classes are conducted on the primary campus in Clifton Forge.
