Nursing Program
The ADN training program in Cumberland County College prepares pupils for an entry-level position as a Registered Nurse (RN).
The theoretical aspect consists of general education and also nursing courses. The clinical aspect of the nursing courses provides you with the chance to practice giving direct nursing care to clients in acute, long-term and also community health-care organizations under the assistance of eligible nursing faculty.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Cumberland County College is an authorized, co-educational, two (2) year, public, community college situated in Cumberland County, New Jersey, United States Of America. Cumberland County College is situated on a 100-acre campus, attributing nine structures, in Vineland. In October 1966, Cumberland turned the very first county college in New Jersey to open up its very own campus.
Cumberland County College offers over 90 career and also transfer programs of study, with programs resulting in Associate in Arts (AA), Associate in Fine Arts, Associate in Science (AS), and Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degrees, along with certificate programs. Following are the minimum requirements for ADN-RN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:
APPLY – Submit a free online admission application
TRANSCRIPTS – Submit official high school transcripts and/or an official copy of GED from a regionally accredited or state approved program. High school graduates must submit a final transcript showing graduation date.
Must be at college level Reading, English and Math and have pre-req for A&P I completed by end of Spring Semester. Which is: Gen. Biology I or Gen. Biology II or Gen. Chemistry, with a “C” or better
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 at time of applying
A&P I&II must have been taken within 10 years— a student whose A&Ps are older than 10 years must take BI 210 Pathology.
ATI TEAS Exam. We will accept TEAS V taken on or after 10/1/14.
For RN -Minimum Adjusted Indiv. Total Score of 60% accepted for consideration; total score of 70% and above preferred The exam can be taken only once within a 90 day time period. The highest score will be considered.
Mandatory Nursing Freshman orientation for the accepted Fall Nursing students: June (tentative date) Students MUST attend to maintain their seat in the program.
