Nursing Program

This associate degree training program started in Warner, OK in 1984 with the admission of twenty pupils. Ever since the college has been extremely successful and have relocated to the newly constructed Nursing and Allied Health Building on the Muskogee 3 Rivers Port Campus.

Certified by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and endorsed by Oklahoma board of nursing. It has an option for LPN-ADN Track.

About The School

Connors State College is a public college situated in Warner and also Muskogee, Oklahoma. Established as an agricultural high school in 1908, it was quickly transformed into a school of agriculture.

At statehood, the Oklahoma Constitution specified that the state really should have an agricultural institution in each of the State Supreme Court Judicial Regions. The institution has two sites, in Warner and also Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Following are the minimum requirements for ADN-RN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:

• Nursing Application signed and dated with supporting required documents (official or copies of all transcripts from previously attended colleges and Kaplan Admission Exam). It is the  student’s  responsibility  to  make  sure all documents are submitted with application.
• Note: Applications will not be accepted without all required documents.
• Minimum scores required for the “Kaplan Admission Exam”
• Reading 60%
• Math 50%
• Science 40%
• The Kaplan Admission Exam is administered in the nursing department at no cost.
• The Kaplan Admission Exam can be taken only one time per application period.
• Must show proof of remediation for reading and math prior to next testing.

LPN-AND TRACK

• Nursing Application signed and dated with supporting required documents (official or copies of all transcripts from previously attended colleges and Kaplan Admission Exam). It is the  student’s  responsibility  to  make  sure all documents are submitted with application.

• Minimum scores required for the “Kaplan Admission Exam”
  • Reading 60%
  • Math 50%
  • Science 40%
  • The Kaplan Admission Exam is administered in the nursing department at no cost.
  • The Kaplan Admission Exam can be taken only one time per application period.
  • Must show proof of remediation for reading and math prior to next testing.
• Verification of OK license, without restrictions.
• Passing grade on Hesi PN-ADN Mobility Exam (applicant’s within one year of completion and licensure as an LPN will be exempt from taking the Hesi exam).
