Nursing program

  • Nursing is both a science and also an art. They prepare you for both with their certified nursing training program and liberal arts curriculum.
  • There are two certified nursing paths at Concordia. The first is the Traditional training program for pupils who apply during the spring of their freshman year to start during the sophomore year. The second is the Accelerated training program for students who have already completed a four-year degree in a different field. This is a 16-month training program that starts in July and ends the following December.
  • The traditional nursing major is for students seeking to complete their undergraduate degree in nursing. Students must apply to be admitted into the training program.
  • The accelerated nursing major is a 16-month training program of study leading to a major in nursing for students who have already completed a Bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing discipline.
  • Following an intensive review process, the Concordia nursing training program has been awarded CCNE accreditation for 10-years.
