Nursing Program
The ADN is 72 credit hours program that leads to an Associate in Science Degree in Nursing. This program is endorsed by the state of Florida Board of Nursing as well as. Students are required to attain a minimum of grade of C in all courses, both nursing and non-nursing courses that are part of the program to graduate and be qualified to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN). 75% is a grade C in nursing courses (those with NUR prefix). Note that only general education courses specific to the nursing program and the courses with NUR prefix are considered when referring to a GPA of 2.50 for nursing

College of Central Florida, previously called Central Florida Community College is a state college in Ocala, Florida. The college is part of the state of Florida College System.
The college is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to offer Certificate program, award baccalaureate, Associate in Arts, and Associate in Science degrees. Bachelor degree programs in Business and Organizational Management began in the college in 2010, followed by Early Childhood Education in 2011, while Nursing programs came on board in 2014.

When ready to submit an ADN program application, be sure to have:
Completed admission (or readmission if not enrolled at CF in past year) requirements for general admission to College of Central Florida. https://mycf.cf.edu/ICS/Admissions/. Use code 1491 to designate program of study. Use code 9250 if you have an AA or higher degree. ($30 fee)
Completed the online mandatory ADN program information session and submitted verification.
Completed the prerequisite general education courses related to the nursing degree with a grade of C or higher and have the minimum 2.50 GPA required. (All-college-level GPA must be 2.0 or higher.)
Met with a Health Sciences academic advisor to be sure you meet the academic requirements for the ADN program.
The Pre-Application ADN Advising Record, signed by the advisor and a copy of the degree audit must be attached to the program application.
Met the course limitation (age of course) requirement for general education courses. Completed the separate ADN application.
Printed and attached scores for your most recent PBS-RN and HSRT-N tests, to the application.
Attached to application all documentation for awarding of points.
Made copies of your application and attachments for your records.
Submitted the ADN Application form (no fee) and all required attachments to the Nursing Office, Ocala Campus Building 19.
