Nursing Program
The Registered Nurse training program is a two-year associate degree training program focused on completion of the Registered Nurse course. The training program prepares graduates for entry-level nursing positions with a variety of health-care organizations, including doctor offices, hospitals, and nursing homes. The training program is built to allow completion of the NCLEX-RN Exam and the Associate of Applied Science degree with the choice to transfer to BSN programs at region universities.
Completion of a Practical Nursing Training program or National Standard EMT-P Curriculum is needed. Pupils must be a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Paramedic to sign up for the Registered Nurse program.
LPN’s from out-of-state may be needed to take extra course work to satisfy Kansas standardized curriculum demands before admission into the Registered Nurse training program. Active Kansas LPN or Kansas Paramedic License is needed.

Coffeyville Community College is an associate of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference as well as the National Junior College Athletic Association. Coffeyville Community College offers football, basketball, baseball, cross country, golf, track and field, softball, volleyball, rodeo, and soccer.
The standard school colors are red and white. The mascot is the Red Raven. Their athletics teams are best known as the Red Ravens (males) and Lady Ravens (females).
Coffeyville Community College was founded in 1923 and was among the very first such colleges to be chartered by the State of Kansas. It was established at the demand of the voters of the Coffeyville institution district to provide two years of college for students who, in those days, had graduated from Coffeyville High School.
From the start, the Institution has been advised by the University of Kansas. Collectively, they created the different courses and also departments at the Institution. Ever since then, the College has maintained a close relationship with the University of Kansas, and all other Kansas Regents Schools, to provide for efficient operation and transfer of credits. In the year 1965, the Institution became an associate of the State System of Public Junior Colleges, and the name formally became Coffeyville Community Junior College.

SPCH-111 Public Speaking
- Students must be a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Paramedic in the State of Kansas to apply for the RN program.
