Nursing program
- The training program readies graduates for the beginning practice of professional nursing in various health care settings, and also for future graduate study. Pupils start in the clinical setting during the sophomore year.
- Bradley’s Department of Nursing offers an undergraduate curriculum leading to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Pupils are accepted to the nursing training program as freshmen and also start clinical experiences during the initial semester of their sophomore year.
- The Accelerated Training program of study is made for students who have obtained a bachelor’s degree in another discipline but wish to pursue a career in nursing. This 15-month training program offers thorough preparation in the essential capacities necessary for beginning practice as a professional nurse.
- Bradley’s nursing training program blends theory and also practice to prepare graduates to effectively complete the National Council of State Boards of Nursing’s NCLEX-RN exam to become a registered nurse (RN). The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) completely certifies the training program.

Following are the minimum requirements for BSN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:
- Complete application-submit a Bradley application for admission and a $50.00 (U.S.) application fee
- Official copy of high school transcripts sent to Bradley directly from your high school.
- Official SAT or ACT scores sent directly from the testing service or included on an official high school transcript.
- One letter of recommendation is recommended, but not required. In some cases, more letters may be helpful. No specific form is needed.
- One- or two-page personal statement or essay. Be sure to include your full name on each page.

A maximum of 66 semester hours may be transferred from a community college to satisfy University general education requirements and nursing prerequisite courses:

LPN-BSN
The Licensed Practical Nurse may earn up to 11 semester hours of credit for prior learning. Following completion of NUR 300 and 310 with a minimum grade of “C”, the licensed practical nurse student may enroll in required junior nursing courses. Sixty-six hours may be transferred from a community college.
