Following are the minimum requirements for BSN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:
Admission is selective. In general, we require a high school record that includes four units each of English and mathematics; three units each science and social studies; two units of a foreign language; and one unit of visual or performing arts. Freshman applicants who do not meet the academic standards for admission may be offered admission to the University Program for Academic Success. Admission to the University Program for Academic Success is also selective, but not as competitive as regular admission. Space is limited.

- Be a graduate of a senior high school approved or accredited by the department of education of the state in which it is located.
- Have earned high school equivalency through the General Educational Development (GED) testing program (issued by the state department of education).
- Present GED test results and ACT or SAT test results; BGSU’s College Codes: ACT – 3240, SAT – 1069, if the student completed secondary education through an alternative program such as home schooling.
- Official high school transcript (waived if you have earned more than 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours of college work from a regionally accredited institution)
