Nursing program

Following are the minimum requirements for BSN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:

  • Graduate from high school or GED
  • Demonstrate a ranking in upper two thirds of applicant’s high school graduating class
  • Overall GPA of at least 2.7 (on a 4.0 scale) or its equivalent/GED composite score of at least 50.
  • Satisfactory completion of college courses relevant to nursing may nullify unsatisfactory high school or GED requirements
  • Testing (see grid for minimum required scores)
  • ACT or SAT scores within 5 years of application to nursing program
  • Placement testing as determined by the School of Nursing if ACT or SAT is older than 5 years (option to test ACT at Bethel College if desired).

RN to BSN Completion

  • Graduate from a state board of nursing approved/accredited program. (Associate degree or diploma program)
  • GPA of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) on prior college coursework
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state where projects will be done
