Nursing program

  • The goal of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Bellarmine University is to provide fundamental professional education.
  • Graduates are trained to act in collaboration or independently with other health care providers to aid individuals and families in different healthcare settings.
  • The program is intended to support students’ active involvement in accomplishing program outcomes.
  • Upon the successful completion of the program, the graduates will have the motivation for continuing professional development and a sound base to pursue graduate education in nursing.
  • The one-year accelerated second degree BSN program is exclusively designed for the individual with a bachelor’s degree in another field who is interested in attaining a nursing degree. This rigorous 12-month program helps students to equip themselves with the theoretical knowledge and clinical skills needed to undertake nursing’s energetic role in today’s healthcare environment.

      • Prerequisite GPA of 3.0 or higher.
