• Two options for receiving the Bachelor of Science in nursing degree are available: Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as Registered Nurse (RN) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN).
• Baptist College provides a revolutionary teaching atmosphere combining traditional classroom education with simulated clinical experience. Following are the minimum requirements for BSN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:

1. Meet all Baptist College admission requirements and be accepted to the College. Admission to Baptist College does not guarantee selection to the Nursing program as selection to the program is competitive.
2. Earn a minimum grade point average of 2.6/4.00 in prerequisite science courses. Number of science repeats will be reviewed in the selection process.
3. Complete all lower division pre-nursing courses listed below with a minimum 2.8 GPA and a grade of C or better in all prerequisite courses (prescribed 3 trimesters/43 credits of coursework). Show evidence that any remaining prerequisite courses, as outlined in the sample curriculum plan will be completed prior to the trimester of progression requested on the Intent to Progress form. Nine (9) credit hours can be taken with the professional nursing curriculum: Religion, Literature, or Philosophy, Introduction to Medical Sociology, and US Health Care Systems.

*Prerequisite science courses must have been completed within five years of the date of entrance to the College.
