Nursing Program

The Bainbridge State College Associate Degree Nursing training program was created to prepare pupils to practice professional nursing in a number of functions. Graduates will fully understand the nursing procedure, learn to think critically, make appropriate clinical decisions and also use present evidence-based practice as a scientific rationale to make clinical decisions. Based on their knowledge of the relevance of continuous developments in nursing as well as medical science and technology, they will exhibit a devotion to long-term learning as well as further career development.

Along with the College’s objective, the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Training program serves the needs of the community by minimizing the lack of registered nurses in the Southwest Georgia district. The training program helps excellence in coaching and learning fosters an atmosphere that welcomes innovation, embraces change and aspires for continual development. The training program promotes critical thinking and professionalism while preparing pupils to function as skilled entry level graduates who can pass the NCLEX-RN examination as well as function in many different health functions. Students will comprehend the key values of the nursing career, such as caring, critical thinking, communication, nursing process, client concentration as well as professionalism.
