Nursing Program

The Associate Degree Nursing training program at Ashland Community and Technical College prepares graduates to provide and handle customer care and to become associates within the field of nursing. Intrinsic to the three functions of the nurse are the eight primary aspects of nursing practice. The eight primary components are professional behaviors, nursing process,  clinical decision making, caring interventions, communication, teaching/learning, collaboration, and managing care. These primary components are presented, developed, and created upon through the curriculum.
