  • AIC is now a test optional college. Not submitting standardized test scores will not count against your application. If, however, you are satisfied with your standardized test scores and believe they are a good representation of your academic achievement, then we are happy to consider them as part of your application.

  • A letter of recommendation is optional but is a good way for us to learn more about you. You can submit more than one, but the number of letters doesn’t factor into our decision-making process. Instead, we look at what people say about you and your ability to be successful in college.
  • If English isn’t your native language, you need to demonstrate English proficiency, most commonly through a test such as the TOEFL. The minimum qualifying score for the TOEFL is 80 iBT.

Transfer student

  • Completed a lab class in chemistry
  • 5 cumulative transfer GPA
  • C+ or better to receive transfer credits in these courses: English 101, English 102/104, Biology 103/104, Biology 209, Biology 213, Chemistry 111, PSY 101, PSY 309 and SOC 101
