Nursing program

  • Beginning in August 2010 at the Cedar Bluff location is CSON’s newest training program option, the BSN Option. This particular, accelerated 17-month option will provide students with the chance to obtain their nursing education in 4 consecutive semesters (Fall I, Spring, Summer, to Fall II), allowing them to enter the workforce at least six months sooner than traditional programs.
  • By serving a tri-state area in Appalachia, the Caylor School of Nursing will meet its objective to provide highly competent professional nurses to satisfy the health care needs and also disparities of surrounding communities. Prepare graduates qualified to write the National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses.
  • The baccalaureate degree training program is endorsed by the Tennessee Board of Nursing. Also, the baccalaureate undergraduate degree training program is certified by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (ACEN)

  • Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) is a non-public 4-year co-educational liberal arts school situated in Harrogate, Tennessee, United States of America. Lincoln Memorial University 1,000 acre campus borders on Cumberland Gap National Historical Park. In its entirety, Lincoln Memorial University is certified by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
  • In December the year 2014, the faculty of law obtained provisional accreditation by the American Bar Association. Lincoln Memorial University was acquired on February 12, in the year 1897— Lincoln’s 88th birthday— with Cyrus Kehr as its very first president. Howard joined the institution as its managing director in the year 1898, and under his leadership the university extended, acquiring among other areas Alexander Arthur’s house, which the school utilized as a conservatory.

Total estimated cost of attendance is approximate $24,160

Following are the minimum requirements for BSN Nursing Program. Minimum admission standards include:

  • Admission to LMU
  • Formal application for admission to the BSN program
  • Satisfactory completion of general education and program course requirements
  • Academic transcripts from all postsecondary schools attended
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
  • Completed medical profile form and evidence of a negative chain of custody urine drug screen*
  • Completed and signed Student Essential Functions form*
  • Proof of Health Insurance*

Acceptance is based on a rolling admissions process, therefore, applicants are encouraged to apply early.

*To be completed no earlier than 60 days before classes begin
